About Viviana Theatre
"Providing Community Theatre for both Children and Adults"
Viviana Theatre is a non-profit, 501(c)3 community theatre organization. We were founded in 2009. Our organization started as a collaboration of people that have a love for the theatrical arts.
In the spirit of excellence, the mission of the Viviana Theatre is to culturally enrich and educate local youth and adults through exposure to and involvement in the theatre arts, while providing quality entertainment for the surrounding communities. The philosophy of the Viviana Theatre and its supporting ensemble groups is to provide creative opportunities for the cast, crew, and theatre staff to learn and develop in the craft of producing live theatre. Through mentoring programs, Viviana Theatre will provide opportunities to work with theatre professionals when available; all within an environment that encourages learning, respect, and responsibility. Youth and adults have the option to audition for performing parts as well as to volunteer to non-acting support roles, such as stage crew, costumes, box office, musician, and scene painting.
Training is provided for participants of all ages. Viviana's secondary goal is to challenge our creative staff and performers and create the ultimate theatre experience for the members of the surrounding communities as well as those involved in the theatrical productions. The theatre provides high quality, live theatrical productions at an affordable price for the community at large.
Within our youth division, Viviana Theatre provides a safe and nurturing place where they can both build life skills such as creative problem solving, team work, risk taking, and tolerance at the same time that they hone and grow their theatrical skills and enhance their self-esteem. Viviana is proud to say that "no child has been turned away;" no matter what their talent, experience level, or financial situation; every child is accepted and given a role.
